Description
Built on the reputation of a well-trained sushi chef, Sushi Tora's legacy of excellent Japanese cuisine has carried over to new owners. Over time, the menu evolved to include more contemporary expressions of the food, supplementing orders of raw fish and traditional Japanese offerings with European touches and ingredients with complementary flavors. The evolution has been enough to keep the downtown Boulder restaurant -- with its bamboo floors, peaceful ambience and airy, contemporary feel -- packed full of diners at both lunch and dinner, sipping sake and sharing tapas-style appetizers before digging into rounds of rolls and nigiri.
