The friendly reminder on the venue's website pretty much sums up the vibe of this homey little establishment: "Remember kids, this is no slam dancing venue!" Surf City Saloon is an intimate, family-owned bar, nestled in a discrete strip mall in Huntington Beach. It features live music from local (and sometimes international) bands that, more often than not, rock the lid off this joint with or without the slam dancing. Currently undergoing a cosmetic face lift, the bar remains open for local patrons to enjoy good music, a great atmosphere and stiff drinks all around. Look out for the new '60s surf motif coming at you soon!
