In a town in desperate need of an Asian influx, Super Dragon comes through like a Chinese superhero, delivering affordable, high-quality Chinese cuisine in a neighborhood setting. Cantonese, Szechwan, and a smattering of other Chinese cooking styles are represented. Duck is one of the specialties, whether braised with veggies or served Peking-style with crepes and plum sauce. Yeah, there's kung pao chicken, as well as clucker à la General Tso. But the menu offers plenty of rarer items, like X.O. string beans, Peking-style pork chops, and cold jellyfish in sesame sauce. Standards such as cashew chicken and walnut prawns never disappoint, but our faves on Super Dragon's menu are the Cantonese roasted duck, and the braised duck with mixed veggies. In both cases, the duck is flavorful and juicy, a feast for the senses that only Daffy and Donald would have trouble noshing. Whenever... More »
Super Dragon, I know, sounds like one of those fantastic drawings Jon Heder does while portraying ultra-nerd Napoleon Dynamite in the flick of the same name. You know, like Napoleon's "liger," a cross between a male lion and a female tiger that,... More »
