Chaat, a category of Indian snacks, generally involves several chutneys, yogurt, and chaat masala mixed with chickpeas, potatoes, fried pooris, or bigger items such as samosas. Sukhadia's is one of the only places in Midtown to get a good selection of chaats, and it also offers Bombay street food favorite vada pav-spiced fried potato fritter on a buttered roll-various dosa, and other vegetarian fare. Sukhadia's is famous for its Indian sweets (mithai); get a boxed assortment from the counter.
