This local favorite lives up to its name; Sub Serious is serious about subs. The menu offers a multitude of choices for breakfast and lunch or early dinner. And the subs are stuffed to the max; these are not skimpy sandwiches that offer more bread than filling. Popular choices include the steak bomb ($6.89 to $7.89), a fully loaded Philly cheese steak; honey mustard chicken ($6.29 to $7.29); and cold cuts such as roast beef, turkey, corned beef, and so on. The roast beef is particularly good -- it is juicy and rare. The menu also boasts quite an array of greens, such as an antipasto salad ($6.79) and steak salad platter ($6.99). And the staff is friendly and greets you as soon as you walk in the door (unless it's during the lunch rush). Prices are average as far as sub places go, but considering the quality, service and taste, this place is a bargain. When locals hit up a restaurant on a regular basis, it's a sign it's time to get serious.
