The Stumbling Monk is located on a nondescript, pie-shaped wedge of Capitol Hill and is neither well marked nor well lit. Specializing exclusively in Belgian beer, their collection includes the heavy dubbel and tripel varieties typical of Belgium, as well as more specialized sour beers. The bartenders are universally stoic and probably won't engage in small talk, but the Monk's board game collection can't be beat. Think you can drink two bottles of Barley Wine?
