You may remember going to the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre with your parents as a kid, trying to sit still through dinner and then an entire musical - probably Fiddler on the Roof or Cats. If this nostalgia isn't enough to draw you to the southwest suburbs, Stevie Ray's Comedy Cabaret, located in the complex's lower level, just might. In a smaller room lit perfectly for comedy, the troupe's performances of improv, sketches and music are fast-paced and PG-13 enough to bring grandma and the older kiddos. Performances at 7 every Friday and Saturday night, with full-service wait staff for ordering food and drinks during the show. Check it out, and ponder: "Why do they always stick comedy clubs in the basement?"
