Description

We used to think the word "steakhouse" meant casual dining; jeans and t-shirts and surf-and-turf menus scribbled onto chalkboards behind the bar. But now we've been to Steakhouse in Fountain Hills, and so we think "sport coat and evening dress" when we hear that word mentioned. We love the clubhouse feel of this place; it's so ritzy and upscale. Both the steaks and rack of lamb are consistently excellent, and select cuts of meat are always cooked to order. The Blue Cheese Mashed Potatoes are unusual and delicious, and the catch of the day is always something we rarely see on other steakhouse menus (last time we were there, we ordered the shark, and it was scrumptious). Attentive service and gorgeous views from the terrace of sunset and mountains are a magnificent addition to any dinner here.
