The big hit on the menu is the Silver Bowl ? ?The Original? salad, with romaine lettuce, chunks of bacon, red grape halves, mandarin oranges, diced red bell peppers, marinated chicken and two dressings (a balsamic vinaigrette and a Caesar, drizzled separately to pack a one-two punch). The to-go version of salad, served in a corn-derivative biodegradable container, is one of the reasons that State & Allen is certified as an earth-friendly eatery by the Green Restaurant Association.
