Merchant's Description

The Gallery Visio Student Association was organized at the University of Missouri-St. Louis by a group of fine arts, anthropology, photography, and graphic design students who saw the need for an alternative venue to showcase student works and abilities on campus.

This group became a recognized organization with the Student Government Association at the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2001 and Gallery Visio held its first exhibit and grand opening reception in February 2002.

The purpose of Gallery Visio Student Association (GVSA) is to conduct the business of the student art gallery known as Gallery Visio.
