Three Kings Public House
University City, MO 63130
Riverfront Times' Description
Three Kings offers a menu that rises above standard bar fare but doesn't have any pretenses to highfalutin gastropub cuisine. There are burgers (the "Three Kings" variety, with bacon, blue cheese and a balsamic-onion jam, is quite good), sandwiches and beer-friendly snacks like pub chips and hot wings. There are also a handful of more-ambitious entrées, such as Moroccan-spiced pork shanks and paella.
Tips from foursquare
One of our favorite local hot-spots!
If you're looking to expand your beer palate, try a flight of four small glasses. We recommend a flight of Three Kings' assortment of IPAs. (Gabe Hartwig)
Chosen as 2011 Best Happy Hour in RFT's Best of St. Louis issue.
Three Kings does an excellent fish and chips: two fillets and an additional hunk of fish beer-battered and fried to a slightly crisp brown that separates from the firm fish underneath. (Joe Bonwich)
Captain Crunch incrusted shrimp!
