Description

Riverfront Times' Description

From the owner of the late and much missed Bleeding Deacon Public House comes the Crow’s Nest. This laidback Maplewood hangout spot tries to balance the Bleeding Deacon’s rakish, dive-bar charm with a more ambitious menu — and a more adventurous one at that. Start simple with waffle fries smothed with dill truffle gravy and bacon, and peruse a seasonal menu that often includes pub staple burgers, fish and chips and an upped-ante rendition of the BLT. Craft beers abound and bacon infused whiskey awaits adventurous drinkers in a maple syrup tinged rendition of a Manhattan, but you can have Stag if you prefer. Come for the grub and stay for entertainment in the form of live DJs and trivia. Happy hour happens Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

The apple and wild mushroom sandwich was most disappointing...lots of bread, lots of apple and two very thin slices of mushroom on each half; essentially it was an apple sandwich. We politely informed the waitress of our disappointment and she said she informed... More >>
