Description

Riverfront Times' Description

A small, no-frills restaurant - one room, paper napkins, no liquor license - Simply Thai happens to turn out fantastic Thai dishes both familiar and exotic. Curries are fantastic, especially the rich, complexly spiced massaman curry and the fiery green curry. (Be warned: The kitchen might very well deliver the latter spiced as hot as you think you want it.) Tom yum and tom kha soups are great, too, as is the less-familiar gang jued tofu, a clear broth with tofu, ground meat, cilantro and scallions. Specials include numerous seafood dishes, and do not miss the fried sweet potato appetizer.

I love this place--the family who runs it is so incredibly kind and has a tendency to memorize your preferences. I have a young son and though it's hard to get out to restaurants with him in tow now, I am never made to feel unwelcome or like a hassle here. The menu is spectacular--100 items--and there are pictures to help the not-so-experienced eater enjoy Thai food. It's also... More >>

Blink as you're driving Florissant's commercial drag, and you certainly will miss it. A shame, because here, in a dining room that offers paper napkins and no booze, you will find dishes more complex, more flavorful and — if you desire — hotter than at any of St.... More >>

Order the panang curry, best meal you'll ever have!

You can tell them how hot you want the food. 0-5 0=(not spicy) and 5=(very spicy). They also have unpublished heat levels that go up to 20, but try that at your own risk.

Trying out number 43... Pahd Ba Mee Kee Maow. Stir fried Egg Noodles, green and red peppers, onions, tomatoes, green onions, basil leaves, garlic and Thai peppers sauce.

    Tom Kha is fantastic!

Try the Spicy Eggplant Dish. Number 85. I'm not a major eggplant person but I love this dish.
