Description

Riverfront Times' Description

Scape fits right into the swanky Maryland Plaza landscape. It even has a chandelier to add to the glam. Dishes keep with the classy from duck confit to lobster mac & cheese. Sunday brunch offerings include chocolate pancakes, corned beef hash and eggs Benedict. The addition of a courtyard bar as Scape has opened up more space for happy-hour crowds or night owls to stop in for a sip and order from the regular menu or, after 9 p.m., enjoy items such as nachos and ceviche from the courtyard menu.

Tips from foursquare

  • Go! Magazine on 06/28/10

We recommend the made-to-order sangria, either by the glass or by the pitcher. Fresh-squeezed and muddled on the spot!

Best in the CWE. Sit out by the Maryland Avenue fountain or on the charming back patio. Yellowfin tuna is the best!!! Beware: desserts are gigantic.

Tom the bartender is really nice and funny. And hot!

  • Jay L. on 06/08/12

Try the Braised Boneless Beec Short Rips Goulash - Slow braised with red wine, caraway and smoked paprika. Served boneless with handcrafted spaetzle. The reason I came here. :-) (via @Foodspotting)

Try the Ahi Tuna Tacos (via @Foodspotting)
