Riverfront Times' Description
Away from the main drag of the Loop sits Booster's Cafe. This small breakfast-and-lunch joint serves up a menu of pancakes, eggs and sandwiches. Vegetarians will appreciate Booster's burger, a mix of soy protein and wheat gluten. Booster's, which is open until 3 p.m., also serves chili said to be from Kit Carson's grandmother's recipe.

Wouldn't recommend getting lunch here... go for breakfast
Breakfast is the key. Not usually busy. They have free wifi also.
Boosters is the ultimate hangover cure. Get the pumpkin pancakes (home-made) or get one of their DELICIOUS veggie burgers. Pay 25 cents at checkout for a fresh cookie. Cozy and quaint.
Their breakfast is delicious but they have terrible WiFi...don't come here if you need to get work done
Best little family run place I've been to in a while. AMAZING pumpkin pancakes and you can't beat $4 for a breakfast sandwich!
