This is a hardcore locals fish 'n' chips shack, cranking out crispy cod, halibut and clams for decades, located in a prime spot for picnics. The golden fried fish is charmingly served in paper boats. In the colder months, head upstairs to drink and take in the best view in West Seattle.

The original Spuds Fish & Chips - on Alki beach since the 1950's, it has expanded many times, but still the best fish & chips I've ever eaten anywhere! Expect loooong lines in the summertime, but their efficient fast paced order system will surprise you at how fast you get your food, fresh & hot. Save a table upstairs or walk across the street to eat on the beach. Great scenery... and the view is great too! ;-)
