Description

Palm Beachers for years have been taking their licks and sipping shakes from this little streetside shop near the north bridge to the mainland. Modernized after a fire, it's got lounge seating inside and comfy patio tables and chairs on the sidewalk. The thrust is their ice cream -- their triple-chocolate-chocolate chip won a national award from People magazine several years back. Waffle cups, cones, and shakes of several flavors are available, along with frozen yogurt. Sugar-free types will find a few good flavors here. They've added a menu of sandwiches such as grilled cheese, a quarter-pound hot dog, and housemade soups. They've also streamlined the ordering process that used to log-jam at lunch with indecisive cone buyers holding things up; now, it's grab-and-go takeout.
