Let's face it, South Florida does not have a great stand-up scene. It's not that people here don't want to laugh -- have you seen the Dolphins recently (Bu-dum-bum!) But seriously, folks... even comic aficionados are hard-pressed to name a great, nationally-known comedian who cut his or her teeth on the South Florida circuit.
