The Soulard jazz-and-blues club Spooty's recently reopened with new owners as an entirely different concept: Sonny's. Gone are the open-mic blues jams; in their place is a pretty standard Soulard watering hole -- meaning that Sonny's is cheerful, casual and cheap. Nothing wrong with that--except think twice before you bring a date. Tuesday night trivia runs from 8 to 10 p.m., while an all-day happy hour on Wednesdays includes $2 24-ounce beer cans all day long.
