Description

Remember Pink nightclub? Or Liquid before that? Som lives at the same street address - 2925 16th Street - but its color tones are more dark & earthy than bright & blushy, and there's nothing liquid about its stern, square geometries. Rather than living in the past, this is a bar designed for gentrifying times: recessed mood lighting, mod-minimalist decor, and $7 well drinks served to a trendy middle-class crowd who mingle while DJs sling beats from the shadowy corner.

I'm not just saying that, they got voted by sfweekly readers Best New Club in town. Indeed, you should check what's the themed before driving down there, they are all over the place - in a good way. 1st Fridays there's the craziest Brazilian party with a bunch of DJs and groovy stuff.
