Description

Social House used to serve up burgers and fries to the denizens of Uptown, right off Cedar Springs. Now it's moved to Addison, to larger, grander digs. Multiple dining areas include a quiet dining room, an open bar room and sizeable patio: pretty much everything you need to meet your friends for a drink, party like a frat boy or find a private booth for hushed conversation. If you like burgers, Social House has a big one. As tall as a can of beer, the sandwich takes deliberate compression to pick up and eat. You might even have to cut it in half to avoid making a mess on that new button-down shirt you’re sporting. The rest of the menu looks like any elevated pub-grub docket. There are are Reubens and other sandwiches laden with meat, fish and chips and steaks, salads and pizzas. There are 73 items to choose from on what may be one of Addison's most ambitious menus.
