Description

The first offshoot of Snooze was meant to alleviate hour-long waits at the original downtown location, but as soon as the doors opened to this bright, funky eatery, it was attracting a crowd of its own, one dominated by families and other residents of the neighborhood. The staff is good at keeping cranks in the line happy by pouring free coffee -- and once you're seated, service continues to be smooth. The menu offers a creative twist on the morning meal, featuring everything from pancakes with marshmallows, chocolate and seasonal fruit to numerous versions of eggs Benedict, omelets of all shapes and sizes, and a massive plate of huevos rancheros.
