Description

Smitty's is a cozy little restaurant tucked away in a plaza off Clayton Road in Chesterfield. Specializing in homestyle comfort food such as chicken fried steak, pasta and fried chicken, Smitty's is suitable for the whole family. Although there's a full-service bar, they are more focused on food here than alcohol. (You'll find plenty of daily specials for entrees, but none for booze.) On the weekends, though, live music brings in a younger crowd; you can also play shuffleboard. The parking lot of the plaza where Smitty's is located is small and can be difficult to navigate, especially during peak hours. Don't be surprised if you have to fight with an American Cleaners customer for a parking spot.

    Smittys is by far one of the best bar/restaurants in the Chesterfield. The food is consistently good, has the best taste and value. They offer a wide variety of items to suit every patron. My favorite is the rib-eye steak sandwich which is cooked to order. My Dad's favorite is the salmon dill. Their chicken caesar salad is a huge portion, I can make two meals from it. On Wednesday the specialty is broasted chicken and it is tender and juicy. Smittys is a neighborhood bar and grill but I favor the grill. You will have some of the best service by their waitresses and they will remember you by name after only a couple of visits.
