Description

CLOSED The second Lumière Place restaurant from acclaimed chef Hubert Keller, Sleek is a steakhouse in the modern fashion, with a hip design and a keen interest in the origin of the meat on your plate. You can order a good old-fashioned New York strip, American wagyu beef or the real deal -- Kobe wagyu beef. (The authentic stuff will set you back $20 an ounce, though.) There are numerous entrées beside steak, including fantastic lamb chops, and appetizer preparations show cleverness and attention to detail. Sides are à la carte, and the total bill might make you feel like a high roller.

The new steak house isn't the traditional wood-paneled, leather-upholstered temple of meat, where tuxedo-clad waiters show you platters of raw steaks from which you choose your meal. The new steak house laughs at the downscale, family-friendly steak-house chains... More »
