The Sixth Avenue Bar and Grill, along with the adjoining Sixth Avenue Inn, was built to handle tourists coming for the 1963 World's Fair, and you can imagine those vacationers still dining here today. This was a diner built for the nuclear family. The kind without a noisy jukebox that still features the hearty, pre-health craze offerings of a menu straight out of the '60s - lots of beef, with toast listed under "baked goods." Since it's attached to a two-star hotel, there's a continental-style breakfast too, as well as a bar and cozy fireplace.
