This is a really nice park that gets it right. It is pretty big for being so close to the suburbs but it is tucked away in such a nice area that it is usually a very peacful place. The hills make it an ideal place for frisbee golfers and even horseback riders sometimes. You can drive your car down to the river, play basketball, choose from two different playgrounds, or have a picnic for just you and your significant other. I actually used the playground with the boat as the setting for a poster I made.
