Description

Singapore's food is a tasty mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian;fusion food at it's finest. Singapore Cafe; although touristy, gets a lot right, including baby oyster omelet, a thin, delicate orb of egg dotted with oysters, poh piah, Malaysian spring rolls stuffed with egg and dried shrimp, and radish cake (confusingly called carrot cake in Singapore), a fried heap of radish, sprouts, scallion and shrimp.

Singapore's food is a tasty mishmash of Chinese, Malay, and South Indian. Singapore Cafe gets much of it right, most notably the baby-oyster omelet - a delicate flop of egg liberally dotted with the juicy bivalves, and served with a syrupy, spicy dipping sauce.
