Singapore's food is a tasty mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian;fusion food at it's finest. Singapore Cafe; although touristy, gets a lot right, including baby oyster omelet, a thin, delicate orb of egg dotted with oysters, poh piah, Malaysian spring rolls stuffed with egg and dried shrimp, and radish cake (confusingly called carrot cake in Singapore), a fried heap of radish, sprouts, scallion and shrimp.
