Description

Open since 1971, this old-school Hunan and Szechuan restaurant serves up classic dishes in a casual atmosphere. The dining room is elegant, the dishes simple and the servers considerate. The pictures of Marvin Zindler tell you that the kitchen is clean; Mr. Zindler even has a special dish named after him. The lunch specials range from $6.95 to $8.50 and include an eggroll or soup with standards like chicken and peanut fried rice or twice-cooked pork. Dinner gets a little more upscale with items like Peking duck and Szechuan lobster.
