Description

Long popular with local Korean-Americans, Seoul Garden is more reminiscent of Kyoto than Korea, which helps to explain its wide range of Japanese fare. The shtick here is Korean barbecue; the meat is marinated, grilled at your table and then served with sticky rice, miso soup and spicy vegetables. Wash them down with Korean beer.

    If you only kind of feel like cooking -- but definitely want to get out of the house -- Seoul Garden is the place to go. The bulgogi is brought to your table. This fantastic Korean beef tastes as though it's been marinating since JFK was alive and is sliced into paper-thin strips. There's an open grill where you cook your own dinner.     Someone has written a comment in ballpoint pen on Seoul Garden's menu: "Yum!" It's right beside the thinly sliced, marinated beef ($12.95). They might as well have gone down the entire menu, writing the same comment. Other favorites in the barbecue section of the menu are the beef ribs ($14.95) and the sliced pork marinated in spicy sauce ($10.95). The latter is deceiving to the mouth.
