Deposited in a picturesque stand in the 165th Street pedestrian mall that might as well be in Port of Spain, Seema's presents a vast buffet of snack items, including little fingers of dough called crummer, sweet coconut drips, and tart red mango strips. Meal-size feeds include wonderful rotis (the original wrap, with your choice of dahl poori or plain roti as wrapper, stuffed with seafood, chicken, vegetables, or meat), of which our favorite is goat, which comes in a midnight gravy and is relatively boneless. Also savor aloo pie -- a light meal vended on the streets of the Trinidadian capital. The pie is really an elongated fritter slit open and stuffed with potato curry and homemade mango sauce.
