Description

There's hardly a destination restaurant in town that doesn't feature a Sebastian Joe's handmade ice-cream choice on its dessert menu. But even the most jaded tablehopper gets dazzled at the source. Danza di Limone is ethereal lemon ice cream with almond slivers. Pavarotti is an inspired combination of caramel, banana, and chocolate chip. Chocolate amaretto, raspberry chocolate chip, passionfruit sorbet: Each flavor at Sebastian Joe's reflects ambition and sophistication, and each cone is a frozen swoon. There's also a full coffee bar, a counter full of baked goods, and a menu offering shakes, floats, waffle cones--in short, everything.

    This has been my favorite ice cream place for at least 15 years. The best flavors of ice cream in the Twin Cities. I recommend the Pavarotti, Oreo, Raspberry Chocolate Chip, Key Lime, or Mango. Not the best waffle cones, but the ice cream makes up for it. And they're open late! Bonus.
