Seattle Weekly's Description
Let's get one thing straight: This is not a restaurant with a few nice paintings for sale on the wall. No, first and foremost, Vermillion is an art gallery. But it's an art gallery with a very nice surprise in back: A rather happening bar, with hip, attractive bartenders pouring drinks, good glasses of wine and beer. So, you've appreciated the art, you've had a couple glasses of wine, and now you're hungry. You'll find a few nice cheeses available and a list of bites and small plates. In other words, don't come here hungry, or maybe make it your first stop on the way to dinner.
Tips from foursquare
One of the city's best-kept secrets. It's a pop art gallery out front. Only when you venture in do you notice the hidden wine bar in back with big screen for movie night, featuring independent films.

I got married here!
You can sit outside and drink now. Winning.
$20 bottles of champagne, aka the best.
