Seattle Weekly's Description

Tucked away on Post Alley, this haven of hard-to-find artisan Washington wine feels like a cellar. Consequently, there's a giddy feeling that you're hiding out here amid the racks of exceptional wine while you're sipping something that few people will ever get to try. Once you've imbibed, you may buy bottles retail for carryout or to be shipped home, and there are discounts for full-case purchases. The food selections are slim, designed to go with glasses of artisan wine: Cheese plates, Salumi meats, nuts and chocolate.

Tips from foursquare

  • The Seattle Times on 05/19/10

Offers a hedonistic three wines paired with Beecher's famous, gooey Mac & Cheese for $12. Or buy your own wine-by-the-glass to pair. Every Monday from 5 until all the Mac & Cheese is gone — usually 7.

  • Swing by this great tasting room and try the Wilridge Winery 2008 Red Mountain Melange! 91 points from Wine Advocate, Melange has "succulent fruit, plenty of spice, and impeccable balance..."

    The Harlequin Claret is amazing!

  • Jeff W. on 07/25/13

An excellent chill location to enjoy indoors or out in the afternoon sun. Free WiFi makes it a good random notebook work location, too!

  • Jon W. on 03/17/13

If you come on saint Patrick's day don't wear green!!
