Description

Seattle Weekly's Description

Once a parking garage, Ten Mercer is now converted into an oasis on a Lower Queen Anne strip where most restaurants cater to the sports-jersey crowd. Downstairs, a commanding bar provides a good view of patrons and passers-by, but there's also privacy in the mezzanine above. Staff are friendly without getting in your face about it, and dishes such as grilled fresh salmon do not disappoint. Or just go for drinks and dessert (like the sweet vanilla bean custard) at the bar, where there are always conversations worth eavesdropping on or starting.

Tips from foursquare

For appetizer, get the crab cakes. For an entree, order the scallops

    Happy hour after 10PM!

Food here can't be beat. Say hi to Aaron the bartender and have yourself a champagne cocktail.

  • Jess on 06/17/13

The drinks are surprisingly fair priced. The burger was perhaps the best I've had in recent memory. Ambience is low key, like a yacht club.

  • Julie V. on 08/06/12

A good place for Europeans who are tired of cheeseburgers, huge soda's, pizza slices and chicken wings.. They have real food here!
