Description

Seattle Weekly's Description

Concerns about local sourcing and sustainable seafood have done wonders for the environment, but they've leeched some of the fun out of dining. Serafina is the rare Seattle restaurant where eating out is still considered a lark (although the ingredients still meet or exceed the standards set by the most solemn restaurants: The olive oil served with bread is notably first-rate.) Freshly-made pastas are excellent, and regulars swear by the rabbit. Adding to the lively vibe, a jazz combo plays on weekends.

Serafina is such a small, personable spot to enjoy a nice dinner with friends or you significant other. Great food and a LONG wine list!

I went here recently for a date. The food and wine was amazing. And our waitress was just altogether the sweetest lady! It was definitely a great experience, but only go if you're looking to drop a little dough. It's not outrageous or anything, but it's far from cheap. You get what you pay for though!

This dark, romantic date spot is a perfect place to enjoy an Italian dessert and a glass of wine from their extensive menu.

The happy hour menu: some salty pork belly on a bed of pickled cory salad & herb, one of the best pork-belly bar dishes cocktail reporter Tan Vinh has tasted in Seattle!

Explore Serafina's flair for things Italian: umbricelli, a curvy Umbrian pasta tossed with rapini and guancialle; or grilled fennel sausages with peppers and polenta. Check out the garden patio.

  • Kate C. on 04/11/10

Everything here is wonderful (including the waitstaff) but the Serafina and the Bloody Marys are spectacular.

If they are serving the pork belly, OMG must have. Life altering, and I don't just mean your waistline. Eat and do 30 crunches ;)
