Seattle Weekly's Description

There's a lot of crappy Greek food in this area, which is what makes Santorini practically a destination restaurant. The souvlaki sandwiches star chunks of tender beef or chicken treated with oregano and salt and then basted with lemon as they grill. The gyros meat comes from the same place that where all gyros originates (Chicago, natch), but it's lovingly sliced, annointed with a tangy homemade tzatzaki, and served with piles of fresh vegetables. And then there's the garlicky skordali, the world's only great potato spread.

Cash only but don't worry, the food is cash money!

Best damn gyros in the land!

First place I ate as a Seattle resident. Been here 100x since.

Voted Best Lunch Worth Waiting For in Best of Seattle 2010! This tiny cash-only eatery is an absolute delight that serves gyros, souvlaki, and baklava made from family recipes.

Hands down, the best quick dinner or lunch around! We love this place.
