Description

Seattle Weekly's Description

Once upon a time, a nice little girl named Ruth grew up in New Orleans. She got married. She got divorced. She bought a steak place named Chris Restaurant. She started franchising this winning concept under the tongue-twisting name Ruth's Chris and she became very, very rich. One day, a big corporation bought it from her and she became richer and richer. Then, one day, she died. Now the big corporation, which moved to Florida after Katrina (Boo!), makes tons of money selling expensive slabs of beef in her name all over the country. (There's another Ruth's Chris in Bellevue.) The only time we can afford to eat there is happy hour.

Offers two gourmet sliders during happy hour: mini Kobe and rib-eye burgers. Fav. is rib eye, doused in au jus and on a garlic-butter bun. Cocktails are well-kept secret. 4-6, 9-11 M-Sa, 9-10 Sun
