Description

Seattle Weekly's Description

Don't be fooled by all of the White Center smuttiness surrounding Proletariat: inside it's an oasis of kid-friendliness. Their pizzas have a fucking awesome crust: it's thin, not too crackly, and foldable, with just the right amount of chew. The sauce is really fucking bland, but that's only a problem if you get the plain cheese. The pepperoni pie is good; it's not too greasy, and avoids the frequent orange oily puddle in the middle of it that shittier pizzas usually have. Despite my complaints, I'll go out on a limb and say that Proletariat Pizza is one of the better pies in West Seattle. If they could revamp the sauce and maybe get some PBR on tap and give the rug rats some Lorazepam, this place would be the working man's utopia envisioned by Karl Marx himself!

Friends say Proletariat Pizza is excellent! As I cannot eat wheat, I settle in for their house salad topped with garbanzos and olives. Upon entering, the sweet smell of roasted garlic and tomato wafts in the air from Proletariat Pizza's open exhibition kitchen in the small and inviting White Center retail space. The pizza looks really good, and each pie is freshly made to order.... More >>

Terrific family-run Proletariat Pizza in White Center knows pizza crust and the art of making a good pie. Don't despair gluten-allergy folks, they have a good salad too. Stop by for art, beer & fun.

The Ham & Egg pizza is delicious. Comes out with a generous serving of arugula on top.

Do potatoes on a pizza intrigue you? They should because the Potato pizza is incredible. Check out the photos, read the reviews and rate it yourself on Chewsy!

Ask for a little Tapatio for the Ham and Egg.
