Seattle Weekly's Description
Greenwood's Pig N' Whistle has survived through the decades under different names - like the Central Tavern and Yo' Babes - since the 1930s. These days it's a thoroughly modern and inviting neighborhood bar, with some of the friendliest staff around. The Pig hosts trivia every Thursday, and on Sunday, food service workers get 20 percent off their drinks. Brave ones can try the bar's Alaskan smoked salmon vodka; the bartender lets you sniff it and recommends it in a Bloody Mary.
Tips from foursquare
The Midwest-influenced pub grub includes "crunchy pig ears" and deep-fried smelt. And what looks like a hamburger is actually a "Bratburger," with a bratwurst patty, sauerkraut and homemade mustard.

this place doesn't exist anymore. now it's called the angry beaver.
Hot. Apple. Pie. Ohhh, yah.
You can't go wrong with the vegetarian soup of the day option! Always the best thing we order, and I am not vegetarian!
