Description

Seattle Weekly's Description

It feels like you're dropping in on a family get together when you walk into Mr. Villa-but in a good way. The colorful cozy space is usually bustling with live music, loud conversation, and laughter. The restaurant serves standard Mexican fare, including chicken fajitas and carne asada, with fresh homemade tortillas. And the margaritas are potent - which could explain why everybody's always in such a good mood.

The food is as exuberant as the live music, especially the searing red and green salsas that come gratis with warm tortilla chips. The lunch menu has tostadas, sopes, tacos, enchiladas, tamales, etc.

    Great salsa.

  • Michael W. on 06/20/10

Everything is amazing but be sure to get a dozen handmade corn tortillas to take home.

Mr. Villa? More like Mr. Fantastic. With tacos, salsa, and margaritas rounding out the 4!
