Seattle Weekly's Description

On one of the grubbiest corners of Seattle's industrial district stands one of the city's culinary magnets. Every weekday from 10 to 5, truckers, hipsters, and slick business types crowd elbow to elbow to chow down on hot dogs, kielbasa, Italian sausage, and tamales, all wrapped in a doughy bun and drenched in Matt's tangy chili (except the tamale, of course).

Tips from foursquare

  • Cheapism on 08/31/11

Relish an all-beef hot dog and fries for around $5. Try the chili or the Chicago dog, or opt for a tasty Polish sausage. Open weekdays only.

  • Stickhog on 08/01/10

The fries are great. Always fresh out of the fryer, crispy on the outside. Try em with the chili.

I've finally found a hot dog joint in Seattle worth eating at. Hallelujah!

  • Danette S. on 06/04/10

    Try the original Chicago dog!!!
