Description

Seattle Weekly's Description

Spring Hill is no longer—it's been renamed Ma‘ono Fried Chicken & Whisky and has traded its linens and braised short ribs for paper napkins, kimchi, and expanded bar seating. In addition to the items already familiar to fans of Spring Hill's wildly popular Fried Chicken Mondays, the new standard menu includes poke, short ribs, barbecue pork buns, whipped pan drippings, and mochi cake for dessert.

Everyone in Seattle should try Spring Hill! Great food and you'll get to go over to W. Seattle - a fun neighborhood!

OK, I thought the year before was a great period for new restaurants in Seattle, but this past 12 months has been spectacular. Trying to pick the "best," which do you choose: Quinn's Pub's urban-rustic meat love? The small plates and fresh pastas at cigar-box How to Cook a Wolf? Tiny, artery-red Bistro Turkuaz, with its Turkish meze and juicy kebabs? Joule's wild cultural spins,... More >>

The menu is thoughtful and inspiring. It’s one of my favorite new restaurants right now.

Chef Mark Fuller is a 2009 Food & Wine Magazine Best New Chef. He deserved winning this honor, because his menu is thoughtful and inspiring. It’s one of my favorite restaurants. -Maria Hines, Top Chef

The dinner menu is the Northwest's version of fine dining: local ingredients; unfussy preparations and a few modern flourishes. [Eater 38 Member]

Chef Mark Fuller offers an excellent menu at this nationally-recognized restaurant. Enjoy dinner with a friend - have a gold n brown whiskey cocktail and the pan-fried trout in brown butter. Tasty!

  • Seattle Met on 11/09/11

Chef Mark Fuller reveres modern techniques and busy concepts, but builds them into dinners where good old-fashioned flavor is paramount. His is one of the great something-for-everyone menus

As one of the four flavor options, the Korean-style doles up crispy chicken in a tangy gochujang sauce. Aside from their chicken, the kalbi short ribs are also a tempting option. [Eater 38 Member]
