Seattle Weekly's Description

With all the Mexican restaurants in Seattle, how do you stand out? At Luisa's, it's the still-warm, freshly cooked corn tortilla filled with butter and served with homemade salsa that you get upon entering the restaurant. "Happiness is a warm tortilla," they say on the menu, and there's truth to that statement. After that, your happiness will depend upon choosing the right entree from a pretty standard menu of enchiladas, burritos, tacos, taquitos, and Tex-Mex standards like carnitas, fajitas and carne asada. Like most restaurants of this kind, the combo plates are monstrous.

Ask for a complimentary tortilla while you wait to be seated. They are warm and delish!

Good salsa. Order small or be hungry. Good for the kiddos.

You can ask for the salsa the tortilla lady uses
