Seattle Weekly's Description

Hiding among a sea of dive bars, Lucid is the jazz musician's jazz lounge, though on busy nights you may have to show up early to get a seat. With a laid-back vibe and high-minded decor, the cozy space literally puts live performance in the heart of the audience, and with no cover charge.

Tips from foursquare

  • Jazz Now! Seattle on 05/31/11

There's never a cover at Lucid, so drop by for a drink. Thursday night is a great place to start, with "The Hang", and interactive jam session that is always a great time.

If you're looking for good prices, come for Happy Hour @ 5p (starting 4/1). But the good MUSIC starts at 9!

  • Jessica C. on 08/09/13

Atmosphere is pretty good. Live bands and no cover! Service is slow (Friday night) and they didn't honor the foursquare special either.

Calling all food lovers (especially veg heads), great buffet provided by Wayward Cafe here on the first Tuesday of every month. So full and so good.
