Seattle Weekly's Description

Ask yourself: Do you insist that the ubiquitous local beer Manny's has nothing on Newcastle from the tap? Do you refuse to turn on a television unless rugby or Premier League futbol is playing? Do you swoon over accents from Down Undah? And finally, do you fancy yourself the best goddamn bar quizzer in Seattle and have no problem beating your chest about it? If the answer to all of these questions is "yes," you are already a Kangaroo and Kiwi regular and have no need for this review.

My friends always tease me because they say the Kiwi is a Dive, but I love it. The bar regulars are pretty funny and the place is always packed on the weekend.

  • David O. on 03/23/14

...he just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich...
