Description

Seattle Weekly's Description

We think the Arctic Hotel, the site of this restaurant, is super chill. If only the dining room was as retro cool. The service can be clueless and the food is wildly inconsistent. It's not a good sign when the Web site confirms that by announcing the kitchen is in the middle of "evolving" the menu. Fortunately, there are loads of other options in the neighborhood. If you are determined to eat at a hotel restaurant, walk a few blocks to the W and take a seat at Earth + Ocean.

Tips from foursquare

  • The Seattle Times on 05/24/10

A coolly contemporary space warmed by jaunty booths. Each dinner entree can be ordered in large or small portions, Lunch items lean toward salads and sandwiches.

  • Cecilie on 03/31/13

Good breakfast, friendly staff. HHonors breakfast coupon is worth $12 which will give you almost anything on the menu. Would definitely come back.

Very cool bar, not the best service

  • Seattle Weekly on 09/13/11

Very serious waiter, who wasn't very social and could''ve been more knowledgeable about the menu. Kind of a limited menu, but the dishes they did have were very good, like the mussels and ravioli.

  • James B. on 06/09/13

Good food try the local Penn Mussels & Manila Clams
