Seattle Weekly's Description

Fifth Ave's Icon Grill is a stylish restaurant with a generous menu of seafood, pasta, and steaks, but it's also got a bar that's a mellow place to drink any night of the week. Icon's got a warm and distinct 1920s feel - a reddish-gold glow pervades the space, and chandeliers are hung with blown glass jellyfish-like sculptures, the creations of Martin Blank (a former Dale Chihuly apprentice). In keeping with the genteel atmosphere, the best drinks here are the fancy house cocktails. The sociable bartenders can help you choose - or just go for the bar's signature cocktail, the Zephyrtini - Chambord on the bottom, lemon drop in the middle, and champagne floating on top.

  • The Seattle Times on 06/04/10

The kitchen, under the direction of chef Nick Musser, still turns out things like Velveeta-enriched macaroni and cheese, meatloaf and pot pie, a bill of fare described as "aroused Americana."
