Description

Seattle Weekly's Description

Garden may be the most unique Korean restaurant in Federal Way. Not just because it serves Jeju Island regional specialties like sliced pork braised with bean sprouts in a sweet-spicy chile sauce. And not just because the owners offer a half-dozen seasonal specialties (cold buckwheat noodles in summer, for example). What's most distinctive about Garden are all the herbs and greens grown on the owners' organic plot of land. The dish that features the most of them is the ssambap, rice and pork served with a half-dozen fresh leaves for wrapping. Don't think of ordering the barbecue here—instead, fill the table with gogi mandoo (steamed dumplings), soups, and noodles.
