Seattle Weekly's Description

On a stretch of Aurora, where Asian food outlets reign supreme, there's a little slice of the Continent with an Eastern accent. This deli has been serving borscht, blintzes, cabbage rolls, goulash and chicken Kiev. JA! Since 1997, this fragrant spot has been a sort of satellite community gathering place for transplants hankering for a taste of home. You can't walk through the door without hearing a symphony of different tongues. Oh, and you like tongue? Maybe you'll be lucky enough to arrive on a day when pickled tongue is on the rotating list of specials. Wash your meal down with a glass of kvac, a Russian sweet yeast drink.
