Seattle Weekly's Description

Opened in 1933, right after the end of Prohibition, The Double Header was Seattle's first gay bar. And though the Pioneer Square stalwart hasn't been a gay hub since its clientele moved eastward in the '70s, its heritage has been well-preserved. It's an easy bar to hang out in - a few pool tables, ample seating, a piano, and a stage that's only used once a month for shows. The bar staff is warm, and they have one of the best pull-tab selections in the area. And if you want a chaser of history to go along with your beer, it's also the first bar in the city to have both a men's and a women's restroom.

Admire the original Tiffany stained-glass lamps hanging from the gorgeous turn-of-the-century bar.
